Historic Accommodations

Roche Harbor’s history reaches back to the 19th-century when the area was occupied by 800 men and their families who worked the limestone quarries. John S. McMillin built several structures, including a hotel for his friends and family, and cottages for his workers.

We’ve preserved the sense of place held so deeply in Roche Harbor with our historic accommodations.

Hotel de Haro

On the National Register of Historic Places the hotel currently holds four suites—each with a private bathroom—and sixteen accommodations with access to four shared bathrooms, two on each floor. All rooms are appointed with antique beds, tables and furnishings to remind you that we’ve been hosting guests in this hotel for more than one hundred years.
